How to make Yamarita

We added Yamrita to our menu about a month ago and since then it has been one of our customers’ favourites.

So we decided to share the recipe and how to cook it with you.

Yamarita

Ingredients

Yam, cornflour, egg, seasoning cube, salt, vegetable oil.

Direction

Slice the yam in a rectangular shape and wash, boil the yam with salt and water for about ten minutes. Don’t add plenty of water so the yam won’t get soft nor break.

Break the eggs and season it with little seasoning cube.

After that, season the cornflour with little a seasoning cube then rub the corn flour on the yam firstly then put the yam inside the seasoned egg.

Put some vegetable oil in a frying pan and leave it for a couple of minutes to heat up the oil.

Then put the yam (covered with seasoned egg and cornflour) in the hot oil and leave it to fry.

Yamarita can be served with vegetable soup, pepper sauce or fish sauce.
